The Minister of Public Health and Population Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh met today, Wednesday, with the British Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Abda Sharif.

They discussed ways to promote coordination between the Ministry and the international donors to mobilize the international efforts to secure the needed resources to support health services and medical care.

Dr. Buhaybeh expressed gratitude to the British government for its constant support for the sustainable health projects, underlining the need for more British assistance in the upcoming stage.

The British Ambassador stated that the UK is committed to continue to support health sector in Yemen and to work with the Health Ministry to improve health care services and carry out significant projects aiming to improve health services for the citizens.
