The Republic of Yemen participated Saturday in the second meeting of Arab–Indian Foreign Ministers, held in the Indian capital, New Delhi, with a delegation headed by Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Mustafa Noman.
The meeting discussed the common challenges facing the region, including threats to maritime navigation security and their repercussions on supply chain disruptions and the decline in the volume of economic exchange between India and Arab countries, in addition to addressing regional and international security challenges.
The meeting also focused on the importance of building a strategic relationship between the Republic of India and the League of Arab States, and on providing the necessary support to enhance Arab–Indian bilateral cooperation and partnership across various fields.
Participants emphasized the need to consolidate joint efforts to combat terrorism and extremism, achieve justice for the Palestinian cause, and work toward establishing peace and stability in the region.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi received the heads of the Arab delegations participating in the second meeting of Arab foreign ministers with the Indian Minister of External Affairs.
