Yemen's Ambassador to the Kingdom of Bahrain, Dr. Ali Ahmed, met with Bahrain's Foreign Minister, Dr. Abdullatif Al Zayani, to discuss developments in Yemen.
During the meeting, the two officials explored ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields. Ambassador Ahmed highlighted efforts to strengthen the role of local authorities in liberated provinces and integrate military formations into the Ministries of Defense and Interior.
Ambassador Ahmed appreciated Bahrain's support for Yemen's political leadership, led by His Excellency President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi, Chairman of the Presidential Leadership Council.
For his part, Bahrain's Foreign Minister reaffirmed his country's support for Yemen and its legitimate leadership, wishing success for Saudi Arabia's efforts to facilitate South-South dialogue.
