The Director General of Al-Ghaydha International Airport, Captain Musab Ben Hamed, met with the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) representative, Engineer Mazen Al-Durrahi, to discuss the installation and operation of an early warning system in Hauf District, Al-Mahrah Governorate.
The meeting reviewed FAO projects in the governorate, including the establishment of the early warning system in coordination with the Civil Aviation and Meteorology Authority.
The system aims to collect and analyze meteorological data, enhance climate risk prediction, and provide early warnings to residents.
