Yemen’s Vice Foreign Minister Mustafa Noman, met on Sunday with Egypt’s Ambassador to Yemen, Ehab Abu Saree, to review bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries and prospects for cooperation across various fields.
The meeting also addressed the latest political and military developments in Yemen during the recent period.
The Vice Foreign Minister praised the historic role of the Arab Republic of Egypt in supporting the Yemeni people since the September 26, 1962 Revolution, commending Egypt’s continued political support and its care for Yemeni citizens residing on its territory.
For his part, the Egyptian ambassador reaffirmed his country’s firm support for Yemen’s unity, stability, and territorial integrity, as well as its backing of the Presidential Leadership Council, headed by President Dr. Rashad al-Alimi.
He also stressed Egypt’s support for measures aimed at restoring stability in the governorates of Hadramout and Al-Mahra, as well as in the temporary capital, Aden.
