The General Authority of Civil Aviation and Meteorology announced today resumption of operating al-Rayyan International Airport in the city of Mukalla, Hadramout Governorate, for air traffic, starting from the morning of next Sunday.
This resumption comes after the completion of all technical works related to the rehabilitation of a number of airport facilities, ensuring operational readiness and enhancing the level of safety and services provided to passengers and airlines.
The Chairman of the Authority, Captain Saleh bin Nuhaid, expressed his thanks and appreciation to the political leadership and the government, the Member of the Presidential Leadership Council and Governor of Hadramout, Dr. Salem al-Khanbashi, the leadership of the Ministry of Transport, the brothers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for efforts of re-operating the airport.
