Vice Minister of Transport Nasser Sharif announced that the scheduling of Yemenia Airways flights on the (Socotra–Jeddah) route has begun, as part of urgent arrangements aimed at facilitating travel movement and ensuring the smooth flow of air transport from the Socotra Archipelago during this period.
Sharif explained in a statement to the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the ministry’s specialized teams, in coordination with Yemenia Airways and relevant authorities, are working intensively and continuously to secure the transport of foreign tourists to their destinations and home countries as quickly as possible, and in accordance with the highest standards of safety and security.
He affirmed that the Ministry of Transport continues to monitor the situation on the ground and technically, and to update flight schedules as required, in a manner that ensures passenger safety and the stability of air services to and from Socotra.
