Egypt has reaffirmed its steadfast support for Yemen's unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity, emphasizing the importance of preserving national institutions.
Egypt's Foreign Minister, Badr Abdelatty, met with UN Special Envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg to discuss Yemen's developments and support UN efforts for a comprehensive political settlement.
Abdelatty stressed the need to consolidate the truce, reduce escalation, and create a conducive environment for Yemeni-Yemeni dialogue, aiming for a settlement that meets Yemen's aspirations for security, stability, and development.
The UN envoy appreciated Egypt's role in supporting the truce and expressed readiness to continue coordination with Egypt in supporting regional security and stability.
