ADEN – SABA
The political parties and components that are signatories welcomed the clear and responsible message addressed by the Saudi Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the Yemeni people.
They praised what the message included in terms of reaffirming the firm principles of the Coalition’s support for the path of restoring the state, and rejecting the imposition of state of real situations by force or dragging safe governorates into internal conflicts.
A joint statement issued by 18 political parties and components, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), commended the Kingdom’s response to the request of the Yemeni leadership and the assumption by the Coalition’s leadership of responsibility for containing the escalation, reflecting a sincere commitment to protecting social peace and preventing the fragmentation of the national front in the face of the common enemy.
The political parties and components affirmed that the Southern Issue is a just cause that must not be reduced to a single faction or exploited outside the framework of consensus and dialogue, noting that the overreach witnessed in some governorates was the result of a flaw in managing national balances and the limitation of engagement to one party over others. This, they stressed, requires today a comprehensive approach based on partnership and inclusion rather than exclusion.
The political parties and components signing this statement renewed their confidence in the role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the leadership of the Coalition in supporting Yemen’s stability, preserving its unity and safeguarding just causes within a comprehensive national framework.
