Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Sheikh Othman Mujalli met today, Sunday, with the French Ambassador to Yemen, Catherine Corm Kammoun. During the meeting, they discussed the latest developments on both the local and regional levels, in the presence of the French Military Attaché, Abdelkader Ben Abdallah.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mujalli praised the distinguished relations between the two countries and the prospects for strengthening and developing them based on shared interests, particularly French investments in Yemen.
Mujalli commended the Ambassador's active role and her diplomatic efforts in support of the government's efforts to implement the economic reform program and fulfill projects and commitments in the service sectors.
He also expressed his regret over the International Monetary Fund's suspension of its activities, after having resumed its work regarding Article IV, which aims to assist the government and the Central Bank and build capacity.
