King Salman Humanitarian Aid Relief Center's Demining Project in Yemen, known as "MASAM" managed to remove 2656 of landmines, unexploded ordnance (UXO) and improvised explosive devices (IED) since the beginning of this month December until 19.
MASAM's Media Office reported that during this period, 2,443 UXO, 192 anti-tank and 8 anti-personnel landmines and 13 IED were removed.
The Director of MASAM Osama al-Qassaibi affirmed that the project teams had managed to remove 529,116 of landmines, UXO and IED since MASAM started its demining mission at the end of June 2018 up to December 19, 2025.
365,117 UXO, 148,657 anti-tanks and 7000 anti-personnel landmines as well as 8342 IED were removed, according to al-Qassaib.
