Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Aidarus Al-Zubaidi, mmet today, Tuesday, at Al-Maashiq Palace in the interim capital, Aden, with the President of Aden University, Dr. Al-Khader Nasser Lasour.
During the meeting, Al-Zubaidi was briefed on the progress of work at the university's administration offices, its colleges, and affiliated educational centers. He also reviewed the efforts being made by the university administration to improve academic and administrative performance and enhance Aden University's ranking at both the local and regional levels.
The Presidential Leadership Council member was also briefed on the university's preparations for World Quality Week and its importance in promoting a culture of quality and academic accreditation. He stressed the importance of developing the educational process at the university according to modern standards and ensuring that its graduates meet the needs of the rapidly evolving fields of science.
Al-Zubaidi listened to a comprehensive explanation of the infrastructure conditions of the university's colleges and the needs and challenges they face. He emphasized his keen interest in the higher education sector and his readiness to provide all possible support to the educational environment and enable the university to fulfill its academic and scientific role.
