Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Al-Walidi, met with WHO representatives in Aden to enhance disease surveillance, vaccination activities, and health interventions against vaccine-preventable diseases like polio, measles, and diphtheria.
The discussions focused on improving early warning systems and rapid response to outbreaks, developing routine and supplementary vaccination programs, enhancing healthcare worker capacity, and improving data quality for evidence-based decisions.
