Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Rights Group Documents Over 4,000 Violations in Hadramout, Calls Them "War Crimes"

The Yemen Network for Rights and Freedoms has documented 4,071 grave violations in Hadramout province, amounting to war crimes and crimes against humanity, committed by the Southern Transitional Council (STC).

The documented abuses include 35 direct killings and 56 injuries of military personnel and tribal allies, execution of 7 prisoners of war, 268 arbitrary detentions and forced disappearances, and 3,500 forced displacements, including families residing in Hadramout for over 20 years.

Looting of 56 commercial premises and 112 homes, sale of stolen weapons and ammunition on black markets were also reported.

The group warns of severe humanitarian consequences and calls for immediate cessation of violations, release of detainees, return of looted properties, international investigation into extrajudicial killings, and protection of civilians and accountability for perpetrators.
