Member of Presidential Leadership Council al-Arada Holds Expanded Official, Public Meeting in Marib
[09/12/2025 06:42]

MARIB – SABA
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Major General Sultan al-Arada, held Tuesday an expanded meeting that included members of the Parliament and the Shura Council, a number of governors and their deputies, local authorities, tribal sheikhs, dignitaries, social figures, and leaders of the popular resistance from various governorates present in Marib.

During the meeting, Major General al-Arada affirmed that Yemen is going through a defining moment that requires strengthening national cohesion and unifying ranks, noting that what unites Yemenis and empowers their resolve is their firm belief that Yemen does not fall and does not die, and that its people will remain an unbreakable fortress no matter how strong the storms become.

“The homeland has gone through difficult challenges and harsh circumstances over the past years, but the will of Yemenis has always been stronger than all attempts at sabotage and coup," he said.

The Council member added, “the experience the country has lived through was not merely a passing phase, but a profound turning point that raised citizens’ awareness, reinforced their recognition of the value of the state and the need to preserve its institutions, and guided them toward building a Yemen that accommodates all its people without discrimination or exclusion.”

He affirmed that the voice of reason and wisdom must prevail during this stage.

Al-Arada stressed the importance of focusing on the battle to restore state institutions from the Houthi terrorist militia supported by the Iranian regime, unifying the republican front, and rallying around the state project, noting that the cohesion of national forces represents the most important guarantee for overcoming challenges, no matter how great.

The Council member pointed out that defending the homeland, protecting its security and stability, and safeguarding its achievements is a shared national responsibility that does not belong to any particular governorate, party, or tribe, but is a duty borne by all Yemenis without exception.

He explained that although the path to victory may seem long, it remains clear to those who carry faith, determination, and a unified goal.

He reiterated that Yemen will remain steadfast and strong through the efforts of its people across all governorates, and that work will continue by all possible means to build the nation, protect its security, preserve its dignity, and fulfill the aspirations of Yemeni people.
