Vice Foreign Minister participates in International Navigation Security Conference in Germany
[09/12/2025 05:50]
BERLIN - SABA
Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriate Mustafa Noman participated in the International Navigation Security Conference held in Berlin and organized by the German Konrad Adenauer Organization.

The Vice Minister touched on the security of the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandab Strait, reviewing the humanitarian and economic damage and losses to Yemen, the region and the world.

He pointed out to the Houthi militias' threat to international navigation security, and the Yemeni government's warnings about this.

He also stressed in his participation that Houthi militia represents a permanent danger, not a temporary one but a global and regional danger, and not just a local one but also it is a threat that becomes more dangerous the longer it continues to be ignored.

He pointed out that the Houthi militas' attack on international navigation in the Red Sea will not end with the end of the events taking place in the region.

He explained that the Houthi militias will always find reasons to resume the attack to blackmail the world politically and financially.

He also explained that the suitable solutions to end this threat must be addressed from its roots by supporting the Yemeni government and its tools in achieving security and stability throughout Yemeni geography on the one hand, and dealing more seriously with the Houthi militias on the other hand.

He pointed out that these measures will ensure the security of the Red Sea and also lead to peace in Yemen.
