Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Fisheries, Salem Al-Soqatri, honored 26 outstanding rural and coastal women working in the ministry on World Food Day and International Day of Rural Women.

The ceremony recognized their contributions to agricultural and fisheries development. Minister Al-Soqatri announced a milk project supported by UNIDO targeting 1.8 million students through school milk distribution, boosting local dairy production.

He also inaugurated an exhibition showcasing rural women's food, handicraft, and professional products, directing allocation of a special pavilion for their products at Yemen's first national honey exhibition in Aden next January.
