A medical conference on vascular diseases and surgery concluded in Aden, Yemen, with a strong call to establish a specialized hospital for vascular surgery and endoscopy in the city.
The conference recommended accrediting specialized certificates for vascular surgery according to international medical standards, involving private sector and supporting organizations in developing a specialized center, unifying surgical protocols, and founding specialized surgical units in central hospitals.
Over 300 participants from Yemen and abroad attended the conference, presenting 53 scientific papers on latest developments in vascular diseases and surgery, and urging authorities to implement these recommendations to enhance medical services in Yemen.
