Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Buhaybeh, inaugurated a workshop to review the strategy for women's development in the healthcare sector and professional conduct.
The workshop, organized by the Ministry's General Directorate for Women's Development in collaboration with the World Health Organization, brought together female leaders, activists, and healthcare workers from various ministry sectors.
Dr. Buhaybeh emphasized that women are the backbone of the healthcare sector, playing a crucial role in primary, community, and curative healthcare levels.
He stressed that empowering women is essential to enhance healthcare services and improve health response in various circumstances.
The minister urged accelerating the development of the strategy to provide clear guidelines, a practical roadmap, and measurable implementation procedures ensuring women reach their rightful place in the healthcare system.
