The Chief of General Staff, Commander of Joint Operations (Lt Gen) Sagheer bin Aziz discussed today , Monday, with a number of military commanders, officials and experts from friendly countries aspects of cooperation and joint coordination in the military and maritime security fields.
The talks took place on the sidelines of his participation in the Manama Dialogue conference activities.
The conversations focused on the national battle has been fought by the Yemeni armed forces and the Yemeni people for more than ten years against the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias.
General bin Aziz met separately with the UN Special Envoy to Yemen Hans Grundberg and his Military Advisor General Anthony Hausward, the Commander of the U.S. Central Command Admiral Brand Cooper and the Commander of the U.S. Fifth Fleet and Commander of Joint Naval Forces Kurt Reinsho.
The Chief of Staff also met with the Bahrain Defense Force (Lt Gen) Dhiab bin Saqr al Nuaimi and the Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces (Lt Gen) Khaled al Sherei'an and the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Jordanian Armed Forces Ma. General Yousef al Huneiti.
Additionally, he met with the Chief of Defense of the Kingdom of the Netherlands General Onno Eichelsheim and the Commander of the French Force in the Indian Ocean Admiral Ho Gzlaini.
