The Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC) has launched a "Peace Journalists" program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, targeting 14 Yemeni candidates.

This initiative aims to enhance media professionals' skills in combating extremist ideology and hate speech. IMCTC Secretary-General, Major General Mohammed Al-Mughaidi, emphasized the importance of empowering Yemeni media professionals to promote peace and stability in the region.

The program is part of IMCTC's efforts to build capacity and raise awareness among media professionals, equipping them with tools to counter disinformation and extremist narratives. Al-Mughaidi stressed that responsible media is crucial in defending against extremist ideology and digital manipulation.
