The Member of the Presidential Leadership Council (PLC) Tariq Saleh met today, Saturday, with Brazilian Foreign Minister Mauro Vieira on the sidelines of his participation in the COP30 conference held in Belém, Brazil.
They conferred over issues enlisted on the conference and prospects for promoting bilateral cooperation between Yemen and Brazil in the areas of nutrition, environment, celan energy and sustainable development.
Tariq Saleh highly appreciated Brazil's supportive stance towards the Palestinian people and the issues of national independence of countries and its rejection of interference in their internal affairs.
The PLC's Member touched on the Iranian interference in Yemen through sponsoring the terrorist Houthi militias, blaming the Iranian regime for prolonging the conflict in Yemen, destabilizing security and stability in the region and targeting maritime shipping lanes in the Red Sea.
The Brazilian Foreign Minister confirmed his country's support for Yemen's sovereignty, freedom and political process to re-establish stability and peace.
