Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates Dr. Shaya Zindani discussed Wednesday with the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the United States of America in Yemen Jonathan Pecchia bilateral relations and prospects for enhancing cooperation between the two countries.

Minister Zindani stressed the importance of the American role in supporting stability, economic reforms and combating terrorism.

He confirmed the need to intensify cooperation on priority government issues and continue humanitarian and economic support.

For his part, the US Diplomat stressed his country's continued support for the efforts of the Yemeni government and the continuation of joint cooperation to meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for peace and stability.
