Minister of Public Health and Population, Dr. Qasem Baheybeh, opened a training workshop in Aden to update and formulate the national plan for combating pandemic influenza and other respiratory threats for 2025-2030.

The workshop, organized by the General Directorate for Disease Control and Epidemiological Surveillance in collaboration with the World Health Organization, aims to equip 41 health and technical staff from Aden, Taiz, and Hadhramaut coast governorates with knowledge and skills related to the national plan's institutional framework, preparedness elements, and multi-sectoral coordination tools.
