Tariq Saleh Emphasizes Role of Preachers, Guides, and Scholars in Building Cohesive Society
[25/10/2025 03:28]
MOKHA- SABA
Member of the Presidential Leadership Council, Tariq Saleh, stressed the pivotal role of preachers, guides, and scholars in building a cohesive society that defends the values of moderation and confronts the deviant ideologies disseminated by the Houthi terrorist militia and their Qaeda ally.

In his speech during the consultative meeting of the local authority and endowments offices in Taiz and Hodeidah governorates, organized by the Media, Culture, and Guidance Department of the Political Bureau, Tariq Saleh emphasized the importance of unifying and rationalizing religious discourse in mosques, and enhancing religious and national awareness to confront the Houthis' attempts to spread Iranian ideology and Shi'itize society.

He stressed that the battle against the militia is "ongoing" and that it is not merely a military confrontation but an intellectual battle that requires a firm stance and internal awareness among the fighters and society.

The member of the Presidential Leadership Council said that the project for which Yemenis are fighting is based on two main objectives: upholding the word of God and restoring the homeland. He urged preachers and religious leaders to reinforce these principles and educate society about their tolerant and moderate religion.

He pointed out the importance of transforming meetings everywhere into awareness workshops and the necessity of coordination between religious leaders and the security establishment to identify and address social phenomena, and to protect all segments of society, especially the fighters, from any ideological infiltration.

Tariq Saleh addressed the extravagant cultural and media spending by the Houthi militia to entrench their misguided ideas and false doctrines, presenting examples of Houthi racist practices against Yemenis, their exploitation of the Palestinian cause for the benefit of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and their evasion of the internal crises they face amid widespread public discontent, as well as their threats to target neighboring countries after losing the ability to exploit the Gaza slogan.

The member of the Presidential Leadership Council stated, "The Houthis are aware of the citizens' anger and rejection of them, and their entitlement to salaries and services, but they are plundering them," pointing to the close ties between the Houthis and Al-Qaeda.

He also highlighted the recent terrorist attack in Abyan, which resulted from a network of relationships funded and supported by Iran, and called for confronting these ideological threats, including extremist ideas that incite violence, murder, and terrorism, through a comprehensive action plan involving local authorities, security agencies, and the military.

Tariq Saleh also drew attention to the level of infiltration faced by the Houthi militia, which they are trying to cover up by kidnapping innocent people and employees of organizations.

He illustrated the racist and discriminatory nature of the militia's ideology, even among its own followers, which was clearly evident in the way they mourned the death of their leader, Al-Ghamari, compared to how they treated members of their coup government.

He urged the community to support security efforts, emphasizing the need for preachers, imams of mosques, and endowments offices to play a role in supporting the battle for awareness and calling for strengthening bridges of consensus and national unity.

He also acknowledged the role of the people of Tihama, who were the first to revolt against the Imamate, concluding by affirming that victory, with God's help, will come from Tihama.
