Military Commander Injured in Houthi Militia Ambush in Taiz

A prominent military commander, Brigadier General Adnan Rozayq, commander of the 5th Presidential Guard Brigade, was injured in a Houthi militia ambush west of Taiz city. Two of his bodyguards were killed in the attack.
According to military sources, the ambush involved a pre-planted explosive device followed by mortar shelling in an attempt to directly target the commander. Brigadier General Rozayq is currently receiving treatment for his injuries at a local hospital.
