Basrra displays Houthi militias' violations against Yemeni people

The Deputy Speaker of the Parliament Eng. Mohsen Basrra cited the grave violations committed by the Iranian-backed Houthi terrorist militias against the Yemeni people and members of the Parliament, calling on the parliaments of the member states of the Inter-Parliamentary Union to investigate these violations.

Speaking today, Tuesday, before the meetings of the General Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union held in Geneva, he also highlighted the humanitarian and economic challenges the Yemeni people have been facing due to the ongoing which triggered by the Houthi terrorist militia.

Basrra displayed a long list of the militias crimes and atrocities against the fellow citizens, including recruitment of children, misuse of humanitarian assistance for their war efforts, confiscation of parliamentarians' property, issuance of death sentences against them, as well as targeting oil export facilities, which has led to a decline in revenues, further exacerbated the economic hardships in the country.
