PM holds meeting with Ambassadors of countries sponsoring political process in Yemen

The Prime Minister Salem bin Braik held a meeting today, Thursday, with Ambassadors of the countries sponsoring the political process in Yemen devoted to discuss the latest developments on the national scene, the government's efforts to implement comprehensive reforms, the economic recovery plan and the needed international support for the government to enable it doing its duties.

The meeting brought together Saudi Arabia's Ambassador Mohammed al Jaber, the United Arab Emirates' Ambassador Mohammed al Zaabi, the United States' Ambassador Steven Fagin, the United Kingdom's Ambassador Abda Sharif and the French Deputy Ambassador Emeric Bouville.

Bin Braik updated the Ambassadors on the economic and humanitarian situations, the progress realized in the economic, financial and monetary reforms, stressing that the battle for economic and financial stability is no less significant than the battle to restore the state institutions and eliminate the Iranian regime backed Houthi militias' coup.

The Prime Minister expressed the government's appreciation for the political and economic support provided by the five countries in backing the government's efforts to carry out the reforms program and the economic recovery plan.

He also greatly valued their role in supporting peace efforts, ending the war and restoring the state and its institutions.

Bin Braik restated that the government is determined to continue steadily in implementing its reform program based on three main pillars: enhancing economic and financial stability, improving services and building state institutions on professional and transparent foundations.

The Ambassadors reiterated their support for the Yemeni government's efforts aimed to achieve the economic, financial and administrative stability.

They also voiced their full support for the Prime Minister's efforts to go on the reforms, achieve the economic stability and strengthen the governmental institutions actions.
