The Governor of al-Mahra governorate Mohammed Ali Yasser discussed today, Thursday, with a delegation from the Office of the Special Envoy of the UN Secretary-General to Yemen, Chief of the Political Affairs Section, Masaki Watanabe, the latest developments in the economic, humanitarian and security situations in the governorate.
The conversations also touched on the challenges facing the local authority and the United Nations' efforts to support stability and enhance opportunities for peace in Yemen.
Yasser highlighted pressing needs and priorities in the governorate and cited the authority's efforts to enhance security and improve basic services for citizens.
