Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade, Dr. Atef Haydara, met with the World Food Programme (WFP) Director in Aden, Laila Ahadi, and her deputy, Al-Rashid Hammad, to discuss strengthening cooperation in food security.
The meeting, attended by senior officials from the Ministry and WFP, reviewed Yemen's food security situation, the impact of economic changes and exchange rate fluctuations on food prices, and the disruptions in supply chains.
Discussions emphasized the importance of joint coordination in exchanging economic and technical information to stabilize markets and ensure price stability.
