KAMPALA-SABA
Ministers of Foreign Affairs from the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) have reaffirmed their commitment to supporting Yemen's unity, sovereignty, territorial integrity, security, stability, and development during their 19th Ministerial Meeting in Kampala, Uganda, under the theme "Deepening Cooperation for Shared Global Prosperity".
The ministers emphasized that a peaceful resolution to Yemen's crisis can only be achieved through an inclusive, Yemeni-led political transition process, based on the Gulf Initiative, National Dialogue Conference outcomes, and relevant UN Security Council resolutions, including Resolution 2216.
Yemen's Vice Foreign Minister, Mustafa Noman, expressed solidarity with Palestine, condemning Israel's aggression in Gaza and the West Bank, and thanked countries supporting Palestinian statehood, particularly Saudi Arabia.
Noman also highlighted his government's commitment to a just and sustainable peace.
He called on international partners to support Yemen's economic and humanitarian efforts, paving the way for lasting peace, sustainable development, and enhanced regional security.
