The King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid's mine clearance project "MSAM" has removed 2,134 Houthi-laid explosives, including landmines and unexploded ordnance, from Yemeni territories between October 1-10.
MSAM project director, Osama Al-Qusaybi, stated that this brings the total explosives removed since launch in June 2018 to over 518,633, and cleared land area to 71 million square meters, protecting civilians and securing war-affected areas.
The project continues its humanitarian efforts to eliminate threats from landmines and explosive remnants of war in Yemen.
