Presidential Leadership Council Member Tariq Mohammed Abdullah Saleh met Thursday with US Ambassador to Yemen Stephen Fagin.

During the meeting, the latest developments in the Yemeni and regional arenas were discussed.

The meeting reviewed enhance bilateral cooperation relations between the two friendly countries and the United States' support for the Presidential Leadership Council and the government, which supports their efforts to confront political, economic and security challenges.

The two parties discussed the path of economic reforms and the improvement of the exchange rate of the national currency, in addition to Yemen's efforts to combat smuggling and enhance the security of territorial waters, stressing the importance of consolidating the partnership between the two countries in a way that serves the stability of Yemen and the well-being of the people.
