Minister of Information, Culture, and Tourism, Muammer al-Eryani, strongly condemned the Houthi militia's continued abduction of General Secretary of the Sana'a General People's Congress, Ghazi al-Ahwal, and several associates.
In a statement, al-Eryani emphasized that nearly 50 days of enforced disappearance after the abduction exposes the militia's true nature, rejecting partnership, laws, and humanitarian values.
He stressed that this crime targets the General People's Congress as a national political entity and aims to dismantle Yemen's political structure, eradicate party life, and impose individual rule instead of democracy.
