Yemen has secured a seat on the Board of Directors of the Global Non-Aligned Youth Organization, a prestigious international youth body comprising over 150 member states.
The election took place during the organization's inaugural council meeting held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from September 28 to October 6.
Yemen's representative, Naseem Wasel, Director General of Youth Centers and Science Clubs at the Ministry of Youth and Sports, was elected alongside three other Asian members to the board.
