Member of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, Abdulrahman Al-Muharrami, met with Prime Minister Salem bin Braik in Abu Dhabi to discuss recent developments in service and economic sectors, and government efforts to implement economic and institutional reforms.
Al-Muharrami was briefed on government measures in financial and administrative reform, revenue enhancement, expenditure rationalization, and plans to improve basic services, stability, and citizens' living standards.
He emphasized the importance of persevering with economic reforms as a national priority to overcome challenges and achieve stability, reaffirming the Presidential Council's full support for the government to complete these reforms and improve citizens' lives.
Al-Muharrami noted that the government's success in stabilizing the national currency and curbing inflation is a significant step that must be built upon, calling for enhanced coordination among state institutions and expanded partnerships with regional allies, particularly Saudi Arabia and the UAE.
Prime Minister bin Braik thanked Al-Muharrami for his ongoing support, reaffirming the government's commitment to completing economic and structural reforms, strengthening state resources, and working as a unified team with the Presidential Council to achieve Yemen's aspirations.
