UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with Yemeni Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Braik at the Beach Palace in Abu Dhabi today, discussing bilateral relations, regional security, and economic reforms.
The meeting focused on strengthening ties between the two nations, UAE support for Yemen's government efforts to implement economic and service reforms, and rebuild state institutions.
Prime Minister bin Braik expressed Yemen's gratitude for UAE's support, citing Emirati projects in infrastructure, electricity, energy, ports, and airports.
He stated, "Yemen will never forget UAE's presence alongside Saudi Arabia in our darkest moments, defending our security and supporting national choices in an existential battle affecting regional security and international navigation."
President Al Nahyan reaffirmed UAE's commitment to supporting Yemen's development, security, and stability, praising the government's efforts amidst challenging circumstances.
The meeting was attended by UAE Vice President Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and other senior officials.
