A high-level coordination meeting chaired by Deputy Minister of Planning Dr. Nizar Basuhayb discussed joint efforts to mitigate the worsening food security crisis next year.
The meeting highlighted the severe impact of funding shortages on World Food Programme (WFP) aid and stressed the need for alternative solutions and projects to support vulnerable groups.
It emphasized the need for a unified plan enhancing collaboration between government, UN agencies, and international organizations to ensure sustained food aid and livelihood support.
