The Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Acting-Minister of Telecoms and Information Technology Dr. Waed Badhb discussed today, Monday, with the American Ambassador to the Republic of Yemen Steven Fagin ways to boost cooperation and partnerships with the American companies which are specialized in telecoms and information technology.
The conversations, which held via videoconferencing, aimed to explore further American investments to help developing the infrastructure of the telecoms and internet in our country.
Dr. Badhib highly appreciated the American role in improving satellite internet service through the American company 'Starlink'.
He stated that the Ministry of Telecommunications is committed to facilitate the businesses of Starlink and to open new horizons for investment in the telecommunications and modern technologies sector.
The Minister Badhib restated that the Yemeni government is committed to offer competitive investment opportunities for the American companies in the telecoms sector.
