The Ministry of Foreign Affairs had welcomed the announcement by the Syrian Foreign Ministry regarding the signing of a roadmap to solve the crisis in Sweida Governorate.
In a press statement, issued Wednesday, the ministry confirmed that this is a positive and important step towards enhancing stability, security, and civil peace.
It also appreciated the positive role of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the United States of America in achieving this.
The ministry reiterated the firm and steadfast position of the Republic of Yemen in support of the stability of the sisterly Arab Republic of Syria and in respect of its sovereignty and territorial integrity.
It called on the international community to provide all necessary support to meet the aspirations of the Syrian people for security, stability and a decent life.
