Yemen Says Houthi Militia Poses Direct Threat to Regional Peace, Condemns Attacks on Gulf Infrastructure
Yemen has affirmed that the Iran-backed Houthi militia poses a direct threat to regional peace and security and to international navigation, saying the group is a tool used to undermine Yemen’s sovereignty and stability, disrupt basic services, and obstruct the delivery of humanitarian assistance to those in need.

Deputy Minister of Planning and International Cooperation, Dr. Nizar Basuhayb, met with officials from UNICEF and the World Food Programme (WFP) in Aden to discuss ways to address the growing malnutrition crisis in Yemen.
Dr. Basuhayb warned of an impending humanitarian disaster if urgent and systematic action is not taken to address the issue, which threatens the lives of thousands of children and women.
The Deputy Minister emphasized the need for international support to help the government address the challenges.
