Commission of Inquiry Releases Report on Human Rights Violations in Yemen

The National Commission of Inquiry into Alleged Human Rights Violations in Yemen has released its 13th periodic report, covering the period from August 1, 2024, to July 31, 2025. The report documents 3,003 cases of violations affecting 3,766 victims, including women and children.

According to the report, the Houthi militia, backed by the Iranian regime, has committed 32,953 violations since January 2016, resulting in 67,538 victims. The commission's teams have heard 13,192 witnesses and victims, reviewed 7,768 documents, and conducted field visits to areas of conflict and detention centers.

The report highlights the most significant violations during the covered period, including 817 incidents of killing and injuring civilians, resulting in 297 deaths and 693 injuries. The commission also documented 206 cases of alleged child recruitment, 147 landmine explosions, and 96 cases of forced displacement.

The report emphasizes that women have paid a heavy price in the conflict, facing arrest, displacement.
