Prime Minister Directs Taiz Governorate to Adopt Innovative Approach to Address Challenges

Prime Minister Salem Saleh bin Breik has directed the local authorities in Taiz Governorate to adopt a non-traditional approach to address the existing challenges and improve the performance of state institutions.

The Prime Minister emphasized the need to enhance revenue collection, ensure transparency, and prevent the imposition of unauthorized fees.

During a meeting with Taiz Governor Nabil Shamsan, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of adhering to laws and regulations in collecting and remitting revenues to the government's general account. He also emphasized the need to alleviate the burden on citizens by refraining from imposing illegal fees.

The Governor briefed the Prime Minister on the current situation in Taiz, highlighting efforts to address various challenges, including water scarcity, the launch of the new academic year, and the impact of the recent low-pressure system.

The Governor also discussed the implementation of the economic and social development plan in the governorate.
