Governor of Shabwa, Awad bin Al-Wazir, met with the director of the Doctors Without Borders (MSF) project in Shabwa, Nofal Al-Qarshi, to discuss the organization's medical activities and plans to support the healthcare sector in the governorate.
Al-Qarshi and the project's medical director, Dr. Hosni Al-Houshbi, presented statistics on the number of beneficiaries of the project's services at the Shabwa General Hospital for Maternity and Childhood in Ataq.
The Governor of Shabwa appreciated the project's interventions at the hospital, highlighting the organization's role in enhancing medical services, particularly in primary healthcare for mothers and children.
He called for expanding the project's activities to cover all districts of the governorate and leveraging its expertise to develop the healthcare sector.
