Vice Foreign Minister and Expatriate Affairs Mustafa Noman has discussed with Saudi Counterpart Waleed al-Khuraiji enhancing bilateral relations between the two countries.
In the meeting held on the on the sidelines of the ministerial meeting of the Contact Group on Somalia held in Doha, the two parties discussed latest developments in the region.
Noman praised the positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of the Yemeni people and its commitment to achieving peace and stability.
He emphasized the vital and important role of the Saudi program for the development and reconstruction of Yemen, the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works, the "Masam" project for mine clearance, and the developmental and humanitarian interventions that contribute to alleviating the suffering of the Yemeni people and revitalizing the national economy, reflecting the historical and cultural ties between the two peoples and brotherly countries.
For his part, the Saudi Vice Foreign Minister affirmed his country's support and commitment to the security and stability of Yemen.
He uttered willingness of his country to assist the Yemeni people in overcoming their crisis, ensuring the realization of their hopes and aspirations for a safe and prosperous future.
