Yemen participated today in the Ministerial Meeting of the Contact Group on Somalia of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, held in the Qatari capital, Doha.

The delegation was headed by Vice Foreign Minister Mustafa Noman.

The Vice Foreign Minister reiterated the Republic of Yemen's firm position in support of the Somali government, the unity and integrity of its territories, and its full sovereignty over all its national territory.

Yemen supports the Somali government's ability to exercise its duties and supports all measures it takes to preserve its security and stability, which are inseparable from the security of the region as a whole.
