The Yemen Human Rights Network has reported that Houthi militia have arrested and kidnapped 83 civilians in Ibb Governorate between March and July 2025.
The victims include educators, students, children, street vendors, businessmen, preachers, social figures, doctors, academics, lawyers, and government employees.
According to the network, the arrests and kidnappings were accompanied by other human rights violations, including home raids and looting of private property.
The network also documented the establishment of secret prisons in the governorate where detainees are subjected to psychological and physical torture.
