Taiz Governor, Nabil Shamsan, met with the Program Manager at the Swiss Agency for Development Cooperation, Nadine Andrea Yaghi, to discuss ways to enhance sustainable development and humanitarian interventions to mitigate the effects of war in the governorate.
Governor Shamsan praised the agency's humanitarian role, particularly in the project to rehabilitate damaged homes, which enabled displaced families to return to their homes.
He emphasized the importance of transitioning to the second phase of the project and implementing qualitative interventions with a rapid impact.
The governor also highlighted the local authority's readiness to provide all facilities for the agency's work and called for support for the sanitation sector.
