Yemeni Ambassador to Jordan, Dr. Jalal Faqirah, met with senior officials in Jordan's maritime security council to discuss enhancing maritime security cooperation between the two countries.
The meeting focused on strengthening the security system in the Red Sea by building the capacities of countries bordering the sea and enhancing coordination among nations concerned with maritime security.
The discussions highlighted the importance of securing international shipping lanes in the Red Sea and Gulf of Aden, particularly in light of ongoing threats to maritime security. Both sides emphasized the need for enhanced cooperation to address these challenges and ensure the stability of the region.
