Minister of Water and Environment, Tawfiq Al-Sharjabi, met with the UN Office for Project Services (UNOPS) Country Director, Reyhana Zawar, in Aden to discuss cooperation and joint projects in the water and sanitation sector.
They reviewed ongoing projects and scheduled initiatives under signed agreements, focusing on sustainable services and improved intervention efficiency.
Al-Sharjabi highlighted challenges facing Yemen's water sector and emphasized the need for joint efforts to overcome difficulties and ensure service sustainability. He called for intensified cooperation to provide safe water and sanitation services.
